Our Story
Originally named Mia Testarossa Hair and Tanning Salon in 1994, our location has gone thru many upgrades, changes, and growth over the years. As has our town of Linglestown, just outside of the capital city of Harrisburg.
Ownership changed in 2009 to our current leaders Jennifer and husband.
In 2022, our company Mia Testarossa, LLC added a DBA named Haven Hair Salon. So why Haven?
Haven by definition, is a place that provides refuge where one can be and feel at peace, and it has been our goal to create that environment. By doing so, we can feed our creative and helpful souls, which brings us to be at our highest and able to give our best. Do you find yourself wanting to be a part of our Haven? We truly hope so!
We are excited to announce that we have expanded and opened our second location, named
Fever Hair Salon, located at 241 W. Chocolate Ave in the heart of Hershey.
We are always excited to meet new people, and are thankful for and cherish all of our existing clients and staff!
Our Mission
We instill confidence in purpose through elevating the experiences of both stylist and client, by providing a positive lasting and linear impression which transcends basic amenities in order to challenge them to be the best version of themselves.
Our Craft
Our company has a solid team of licensed professionals providing top services of haircuts, styling, coloring, barbering, makeup and skincare, extensions, and more. Each stylist has chosen to continue their education and various certifications to further their confidence and expertise.
Our Salon
Haven Hair Salon moved to the Linglestown Road location in 1994, originally named Mia Testarossa Hair Salon. The original name is an Italian phrase meaning “my red head”, and with Jennifer being neither Italian nor a red-head, the company has wanted to transform the salon name and grow into a name that had a deeper meaning for the owners, staff and all people inside of the salon. Haven feels just right.
